Advocates For Safe Roads Workshop:

My mom and I are very grateful to have been able to attend the Advocates For Safe Roads Workshop at the National Safety Council’s headquarters in Illinois on April 29th & 30th.

The Advocates For Safe Roads Workshop was an amazing opportunity that enabled me to become a better speaker and advocate against the dangers of distracted driving!

Because of this workshop we were also able to connect with other families who shared the same passion in advocating against the devastating Dangers of Distracted Driving. While it was wonderful to be able to meet others who shared a common devotion to hopefully ending this epidemic, it was also heartbreaking to learn why they have selflessly chosen to become advocates for this cause. Many of the families that we met had lost a child or family member because of the Dangers of Distracted Driving. It was so amazing to see how these strong individuals have decided to turn the unimaginable grief of losing their loved ones into sharing their stories as an example of why cell phone use or other types of distracted driving NEED to stop!!
I am forever grateful to have become a part of a nationwide cadre of survivor advocates who speak about the Dangers of Distracted Driving in a unified voice!
